Pirates clinch conference title (10 Aug 2015) After a tough start to the encounter, this eventually became a comfortable win for the Pirates as they clinched their seventh straight northern Conference title. Title hopes back on track after win (3 Aug 2015) The Pirates put their Northern Conference hopes back on track with a hard fought win against rivals Tamworth Phoenix. Despite the narrow margin of victory, it was enough to give East Kilbride the benefit in the head-to-head record between sides that both look likely to finish with an 8-2 record. To achieve that though, the Pirates must now overcome Sheffield Predators in their final League game on Sunday. Despite having defeated the Predators earlier this year, they are a team capable of springing a surprise as they showed when they conquered Tamworth just a few weeks ago. Pirates move up table after win (20 July 2015) While it may not have been pretty to watch, the Pirates did just enough to win this tense encounter by sufficient points to leap-frog their opponents and take second place in the Division. The ultimate destination of the 2015 title will be decided over the next two weekends when the Wolverines travel to Tamworth on Sunday, then the Phoenix come north to face East Kilbride on Saturday 1 August.
